BOKHARAS FROM THE NORTH
A life long passion for feathers
Born in 1972 and through my father's Racing Homers I discovered the love
for the amazing domestic pigeon and have been involved with them all my life. My passion is the unique Bokhara Trumpeter and its rich history and mystique appearance.
However, having a feathered heart I have ventured into many breeds, some for longer periods, some for shorter. Currently my lofts are home to the Bokhara Trumpeters, Jacobins, English Trumpeters, Old Dutch Tumblers and the petite Romanian beauty called the Craiova Tumbler.
Next to the fancy pigeons, I possess a purebred group of Marathon Racing Pigeons based on the ZLU top of North Holland. I fly these from home and participate in a few one loft races worldwide.
Privately I am the father of two teenage girls and work in the field of education.

MY PIGEONS
The aim of this site is to present some of the pigeons I raise, with the main focus on the Bokharas and their everyday management, hoping to be helpful to both experienced and new breeders of this beautiful pigeon. Not many have what it takes to become succesful with Bokhara Trumpeters, should you wish to sharpen your skills I hope this site will provide valuable input.
